How We Make Our Guides

How we write driveway gate guides: where AI assists, who reviews each one, how prices and specs are checked against our catalog, and how AI images are labelled.

Where AI helps

Some guides start as an AI-assisted draft: an outline, a first pass at the prose, or a summary of questions customers ask us in chat and email. AI also helps with research and with the illustrations on some pages. It never publishes anything on its own.

Who reviews every guide

Every guide is read, edited and approved by a person before it goes live: Richard Ryan, Founder, GateFrames, who builds these gates in our San Jose, California workshop. If a guide is published, a human decided it was accurate and worth your time.

How we check the facts

Prices, sizes, weights, lead times and warranty terms are checked against our live catalog, the same data the configurator prices from, before a guide is published and whenever it is updated. The live gate prices shown alongside a guide come straight from the catalog when the page renders. When a guide compares materials or gate types we do not sell, it says so plainly.

Images

Photos of our gates are our own: workshop shots, renders of real configurations, and customer installs shared with permission. When an illustration is generated with AI, its file carries the IPTC "Created using Generative AI" label (digital source type trainedAlgorithmicMedia), so search engines and image tools can tell it apart from a photograph.

Updates and corrections

A guide shows an "updated" date only when its content actually changed. Spot something wrong or out of date? Tell us and we will fix it.
